Frequently Asked Question

Most commonly asked questions from our clients

Do you accept insurance?

Just Therapy, LLC does not accept insurance. We provide you with a super bill you may need when submitting for out-of-network reimbursement.

What are sessions like?

The first visit will be an initial assessment. This includes review of past reports and intake forms, parent questionnaires, teacher questionnaires when needed, 1 hour initial visit, standardized and non-standardized assessments, clinical observation, scoring and interpretation, a 30-minute follow up call within 1 week of the initial visit, and a thorough report received within 2 weeks of the initial visit.

Therapy sessions are 45 minutes long. Sessions are a “therapy hour” meaning we will meet for about 45 minutes and the remainder of the hour is used for preparing for our visit and HIPAA secure documentation. Sessions include time for parent discussion and education at the beginning or end of sessions.

Sessions are typically scheduled once a week.

What are your hours?

Monday-Thursday: 9:30-6:30

What is sensory processing?

Sensory processing is a neurological process. Organization and integration of sensory information occurs automatically within our central nervous system. This integration contributes to our ability to regulate our emotions, our attention, motor planning, and other cognitive functions. It contributes to a readiness for all learning. For some children, this automatic process does not develop as efficiently as it should. When this occurs, problems with learning, development and/or behavior may be evident.

What is the office like?

Just Therapy, LLC has two large sensory rooms with two separate waiting rooms and entrances; allowing for privacy. Only one client at a time is seen in a therapy room. The rooms are well equipped with sensory motor equipment, toys, and therapy materials.
